A man has been left with permanent scars after being attacked as he sat in his sports car.

The 38-year-old victim suffered a head wound, broken nose and cuts to his face in the assault in Dundee city centre. Two men attacked the motorist as he was driving his Audi TT on the city's West Marketgait at 2200 GMT on Thursday.

He received more than 20 stitches after being treated in hospital. Tayside Police asked anyone with information to contact officers.
