Boy, 14, hurt in Jersey jet ski accident

by Conrad Murray last modified 08-09-2006 05:11

A boy is in hospital after being thrown from a water bike in Jersey waters.

Police said the boy was on a red water bike in St Aubin's Bay when the accident took place. Four other water bikes were in the water at the time. The 14-year-old was taken to Jersey's General Hospital with shoulder and head injuries and kept in intensive care as a precaution.

The water bike has been seized by police who also want to speak to other people in the water at the time.
