by Conrad Murray last modified 29-08-2006 03:37

A 13-year-old girl has died in a crash near Wiviliscombe in Somerset.

Jesse Dale was cycling near her home in Waterrow on Thursday when she was involved in a collision with a Land Rover Defender. She was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in nearby Taunton but died later from her injuries.

Jesse's family said: "Words cannot describe the pain that we are feeling at the loss of our beautiful princess. We will miss her with all our hearts." Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them.
