Pedestrian dies after Oxfordshire A40 collision
An elderly man has died after being hit by a car in Oxfordshire.
The man, aged in his 80s, was hit by a blue Vauxhall Astra on the A40 near Tetsworth, on Monday evening. He died from his injuries in hospital. Pc Eddie Hulme, of Thames Valley Police, said: "I particularly need to speak to anyone who saw a man walking along the road before the collision."
He said the man, who has not been formally identified, was wearing a dark blue anorak and light grey trousers.
