Police name driver in Cambridgeshire ditch crash

A driver who died after her car plunged into a ditch in Cambridgeshire on Wednesday has been named by police.

Denise Seaton, of Main Road, Tydd Gote, died after the incident on the A1101 road at Newton, close to the junction of the B1165, near Wisbech. Emergency services found the car in a ditch and nearby roads were closed for recovery operations.

An air ambulance took the driver to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where she was later pronounced dead.
