Man suffers head injury in Whitstable computer warehouse raid

by Conrad Murray last modified 01-11-2006 08:45

A 26-year-old man is being treated in hospital for a head injury after he and a colleague were tied up while a gang robbed a computer hardware warehouse.

Three or four men are believed to have carried out the raid at the Change Organisation Unit on the John Wilson Business Park in Whitstable, Kent. The other victim, a 32-year-old man, managed to call police an hour and half after the break-in early on Tuesday.

Police are examining CCTV footage and appealing for witnesses. They are also trying to establish what was stolen from the warehouse in the raid, which happened at 0530 GMT.

The injured man is being treated at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, in Margate.
