I cut my finger on a slitter at work, will I be able to claim for my injury?

I cut my finger on a slitter at work. The slitter had no guard fitted and I was only given minimal training on it. I have only worked there for 3 months will I be able to claim for my injury?

Yes.  You can claim against your employer for damages for the personal injury that you have suffered.  He is under a duty to protect you from hazards whilst at work and to provide proper training for you.

I can ask one of our legal counsellors to call you to go through your case in detail. The service is confidential, there are no costs associated with the call and there is no obligation of any kind. Please reply to this email if you want to use this service.
